Relevant and effective support

All Next Link Domestic Abuse Services come under the umbrella of Missing Link.
In 1999 Bristol Next Link was commissioned by Bristol City Council to provide the domestic abuse services for women and children in the city. Since then the services have expanded beyond Bristol into South Gloucestershire and North Somerset.
In 2022 we were recommissioned by Bristol City Council to be the lead provider of domestic abuse services in the city. In 2023 we were recommissioned by South Glos Council to be the led provider of domestic abuse services across the county.

Services we offer

Next Link Plus South Glos provide support services for anyone (women, men, non-binary, children) who have been the victim of domestic abuse. Our services include telephone help and advice, safe houses, community outreach services and group programmes.

Referrals are made by telephone, email or via our online chat. At the telephone stage callers are asked about their situation, the number of children they have with them, what areas are unsafe for them and whether they want a safe house, or if they want support to access one of our community services.
